Had the most wonderful birthday....hadn't had a birthday this good...
my friends were in different cities the previous night of the birthday;but they made sure they were present for the birthday party.It gives me immense happiness to know that my friends flew down all the way from Mumbai, took a night bus from Chennai and Coimbatore (they didn't complain even when they had to travel in a normal ksrtc bus instead of a Volvo due to unavailability of tickets.....Got calls from Dubai,italy,chennai ,Coimbatore,Madhurai.friends wishing me on my birthday..felt no less than a princess....
my sweeties(abhi and kums)were there one day before the birthday.....the shopping,the pranks,the midnight gossip,trying out new dresses and deciding what to wear for the bday treat,the laughter(i hadnt laughed this loud in ages)......
the birthday treat was a celebration in itself..thought i was just giving a birthday treat to my friends but they turned it into a party..the birthday cake was the biggest suprise....the chocolate mousse cake was so yummy and the ``flower crown`` was too good..felt more like Cleopatra:P:P...it makes me happy to know that my friends took extra care to get the cake and the crown right....and thank u for not complaining when the venue for the treat was changed at the last minute....
when the party was over ... kums and abhi gave me the friendly hug and a forehead kiss ....it was time to depart...the other friends waved me goodbyes.....i looked at them with a blank expression...and thought tommoroow each one of us would be in different cities,getting back to our work and hectic schedules.....how i wish the party never ended....
its been one week and my thoughts are still hanging on day of the birthday party...as kums puts it ``even though we are physically present at our work places mentally we are still in the birthday party``....
heres thanking everyone for being so good,for being there for me through ups and downs,for pampering me,for lending a shoulder to cry on..,thanks for making my days happier....
i keep waiting for those `get togethers` where i can be a kid again and laugh to my hearts content.....thank u all for being such wonderful friends.........mmauuuhhh!!!!!!!
